8th Grade Math + History MCAS Scores – FY 2002

As for 4th grade MCAS scores, the combined 8th Grade Math + History MCAS scores were used as the metric.  North Reading 8th graders scored the highest among our comparison group in FY 2002, with a combined Math + History score of 486.  Triton again scored lowest, at 453, and Hamilton-Wenham came in at 475 (63rd percentile).

Note:  The bars and numbers in the chart above present the data values reported for each school district.  The percentiles noted in the commentary at the top of the page indicate the proportion of the reporting districts that reported data equal to or below the level reported by the given district.
