Average Teacher Salary FY 2002The “Average Teacher Salary” calculation is influenced by a variety of factors, from the timing of the labor contract renegotiation cycle to the distribution of teachers by age and years of service. This measure presents FY 2002 Average Teacher Salaries, and the next page shows the average over six years (FY 1997 to FY 2002). In FY 2002 Wayland’s Average Teacher Salary was $61,020, and Groton-Dunstable’s was $41,488. Hamilton-Wenham’s was $48,280 (29th percentile).
