Residential + Open Space Levies as % of Total Town Revenue - FY 2003Towns categorize their revenue from municipal taxes in five classes: Residential, Open Space, Commercial, Industrial, and Personal Property. This chart presents the percent of the total tax levy each town receives from the Residential and Open Space classes. The “Residential + Open Space Levies as a % of Total Town Revenue” was highest in FY 2003 for Carlisle, at 98.3%, and lowest in Danvers (64.3%). Wenham was at 95.8% (75th percentile) and Hamilton was 95.4% (70th percentile).
